University Senate

Each of the eight locations of the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University has an Academic Senate which is responsible for questions relating to cooperation within the university. In contrast to the University Council, this body does not have a dual membership, but rather consists exclusively of university members.  The Academic Senate addresses fundamental questions relating to teaching and studying, the appointment of new faculty members and honorary professors and coordination of the work of the university schools.
